After breakfast in the Hotel we start our trekking tour through Ella. We visit the closer surroundings of Ella and hike though some classic looking paddy fields. Later on we transfer by car/van to Heeloya Railway Station. From there we continue the hike to the Ella Rock. We pass though various types of forests, as this some the unique vegetation, which can only be found in the hill country of Sri Lanka. This trek will lead us to the Village of Ella. Where our driver awaits us to  transfer us comfortably back to our Hotel. Of course in Ella everything for a good dinner and overnight accommodation has been taken care for while we enjoy amazing views and panoramas from our selected Hotel here.

5. Day   Horton Plains / World's End

This day is dedicated to an expanded and beautiful excursion to the Horton Plains. Arriving there we move on to World's End and the Baker Waterfalls, where we pause for a typical tea break. This route of approximately 11 km to Udavariya leads over the high-altitude Sri Lankan tea gardens, where we will enjoy a recreating picnic. Our destination at the evening is our lodge in the midst of tea gardens, with breath-taking views on an indescribable panorama.

6. Day   Bambarakanda Waterfalls

The highlight of this day tour are the Bambarakanda Waterfalls, the highest in the whole of Sri Lanka. But the way to these is already an experience, since it leads over mountain passports with unique views. The numerous smaller waterfalls, which will cross our way, are particularly delightful, and marvelously suitable for remote bathing. After refreshment and break we then continue by driving to Bandarawela.

7. Day   Bandarawela

The breakfast takes place in the hotel, then we explore the most beautiful Sri Lankan tea gardens by Tuk Tuk, the native and very typical vehicle, which leads us via dramatic and green landscapes. We will stop occasionally at natural springs for bathing and for a picnic in nature. After the investigation of further waterfalls in that area we return to the hotel in the evening.

8.Day train journey through the Sri Lankan hillcountry

This time our train takes us to Ohiya, from where our tour starts, via various forests rich of species, ending in Haputale. This trek is one of the hidden routes, which remain hidden to normal tourists, and includes the way through tea estates and beautiful hill landscapes with the most impressing views in the Sri Lankan north. The tour lasts approximately 6 hours, however the participants will be compensated with unique impressions.

9.Day   Bogoda Temple Trekking

The day begins with an early breakfast, since a particularly early start is a must: only then we can see the morning birds. For bird lovers this is the most beautiful trip, the way passes by the Sri Lankan forests as well as peasants' fields. The night will be spent in a buddhist temple.

By Jeep we drive into the National Park to see the animals in their natural habitat. A local park ranger who guides us and explains the animals behaviour and daily life to us. Hyenas, Crocodiles as well as lots of birds can be spotted here. Our Lodge lies in a distance of about 30 min drive from the parks entrance in a totally untouched village. Which is an attraction by itself aswell.
