Minneriya National Park
Minneriya National Parks. The fundamental difference between visiting the Minneriya National Park and Udawalawe National Park is that, due to the landscape features in Udawalawe, the wild elephants can be easily spotted in their herds. Here we also see a multitude of other animals that are native to this park. In Minneriya on the other hand, there may also be times when we do not spot any animals on the Jeep safari simply because the vegetation is too dense here.
Nevertheless, both national parks are recommended. Should you visit the Minneriya we would then adjust the tour route accordingly if you preferred the National Park.
